Obviously you’re less of a fan. Are you really that stupid? If you’ve only seen the movies, you really don’t know shit about the series.
Spouting abuse at people doesn’t make you any more of a fan either. Different people connect to different forms of entertainment. Just because someone only saw the movies doesn’t mean they’re not a fan it just means they connect to a different form of storytelling. It’s not an attack on the series and people shouldn’t take it as a personal affront or call someone stupid for it. Harry Potter fought Voldemort to keep prejudiced out of the wizarding world, we should honor that by being kinder people in the real world.
There’s a difference between being a fan of the MOVIES ONLY and the SERIES(The WHOLE). If they were a fan of the entire SERIES, they’d stop being a lazy fuck if they’re such a fan and pick up a book. Just sayin’.
They can be a huge Harry Potter MOVIE fan. I don’t doubt that. But a true fan of the SERIES wouldn’t leave out the books.
And what does this have to do with me being a fan? I never said anything about myself, but okay.
I didn’t mean you personally I just meant you as in anyone who tries to bring someone down because of their opinions. I haven’t followed Harry Potter that long but the way I’ve seen some people bash other HP fans because they don’t think the same is astounding. All I’m trying to say is that no one has the right to say who can be a fan and how much of a fan they can be. No one gave us that right. While I’m all for defining the series to someone who tries to bash it we shouldn’t do it to other HP fans. We don’t know their story or why they haven’t read the books/watched the movies/have the opinion they have.
